    FRUSTRATION was written all over the faces of the University of the Visayas Green Lancers as bad calls cost them the game, and they yielded their third straight loss to bitter rivals Southwestern University Cobras, 77-70, in the semifinal round of the 2013 Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) College Basketball tournament held at the Cebu Coliseum last night.

    THE University of San Carlos is no longer interested in contesting the decision of Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) Commissioner Felix Tiukinhoy Jr. in suspending Warriors assistant coach Junthy Valenzuela for the rest of the season.

    Valenzuela was meted the penalty following his actions during their quarterfinal game against the University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters last Sept. 6 at the Recoletos Coliseum in the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Basak Campus. Read More
