    AS part of its program in preparation for the 15th season of the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi), last year’s runner-up the University of San Carlos Warriors booked themselves a match against the unpredictable Cebu Institute of Technology-University Wildcats in an exhibition match tonight in Asturias town.

    The exhibition match is just the highlight of the opening of the 2nd Vice Mayor Joel Dumdum Inter-Barangay Basketball Tournament, which will be participated by 14 teams. (READ MORE)

    THE Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) Board justified the decision of Commissioner Felix Tiukinhoy Jr. to allow American Bendley Valdor to play for the Southwestern University Cobras as replacement for Cameroonian Justin Aboude in the 2014 Basketball tournament.

    After hours of deliberation and review, the Cesafi board junked the protest of the University of San Carlos, and any team planning to contest the decision of Tiukinhoy allowing Valdor to see action despite coming in late and beyond the deadline set by the league. (READ MORE)
