(Cesafi) High School Basketball title at the Cebu Coliseum.

This put the underdog squad on the verge of winning the 2015 Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) High School Division basketball title at the Cebu Coliseum last night.

    The Baby Webmasters will try to regain the title they last won in 2008, in Game 2 of the best-of-three series while the Magis Eagles who are eyeing a grand slam title will try to avert elimination and forge a winner-take-all game that is scheduled on Sunday. (READ MORE)

    I HAVE never really taken to the Cesafi All-Star games in the past because I always thought that it can be better.
    It’s patterned after the NBA and PBA All-Star weekends, but unlike the pro events that attract new and casual fans, the one-day festivity in Cesafi rarely attracted people in the crowd.

    And based on the reactions from last weekend’s dunk contest, where even the winner had something negative to say, I think it’s time for Cesafi to tweak the contest. (READ MORE)

(Cesafi) high school basketball tournament last night at the Cebu Coliseum.

    And the credit for this overwhelming win went to the diminutive Gelmart Umpad, a flashy point guard from Medellin, Cebu, who nearly logged a triple-double performance while orchestrating the Baby Webmasters offense around the relatively taller USC. (READ MORE)
