    THE University of San Carlos (USC) Warriors just added misery to the erstwhile tough to crack University of the Visayas (UV) Green Lancers, beating the latter, 89-75, in the college match of the 2016 Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) basketball tournament last night at the Cebu Coliseum.

    Kevin Oledo, Jules Langres, Lucky Ecarma and Gio Laguyo combined efforts to help the Warriors take their fifth win in nine games while handing UV its third defeat also in nine games. <a href=”

    THE University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) Panthers won against the University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters in a thriller, 70-67, on Tuesday, September 13, at the New Cebu Coliseum in Cebu City.

    TOP seed Southwestern University (SWU) Cobras keep its immaculate record intact as they whipped the University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters, 81-63, in the collegiate game of the 2016 Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) Basketball Tournament at the Cebu Coliseum yesterday.

(Cesafi) Basketball tournament at the Cebu Coliseum yesterday.

(Cesafi) saw its first-ever jampacked elimination round game last Thursday evening that featured powerhouse teams University of the Visayas (UV) Green Lancers and the Southwestern University (SWU) Cobras at the Cebu Coliseum.

(Cesafi) Basketball tournament at the Cebu Coliseum last night.

    The classic match-up lived up to its promise as both teams played their best with Tallo shining the brightest to lead the Cobras to a perfect win-loss record of 6-0 at the end of their first round campaign. UV dropped to 5-1. (READ MORE)

    THE University of San Carlos (USC) Warriors escaped a comeback from the University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters, 69-67, in an overtime on Tuesday. August 30, at the New Cebu Coliseum in Cebu City.

    The Warriors had the lead through out the first three quarters, but things change at the last two minutes of the ball game. (READ MORE)
