Eagles, Lancers trample foes

TITLE favorites Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Magis Eagles and the University of the Visayas (UV) Baby Lancers picked their second win in as many games in the continuing semifinal round of the 2014 Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) High School Basketball Tournament at the Cebu Coliseum last night.

The Magis Eagles rallied in the middle quarters to pick a 66-52 over the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) Baby Panthers win, while the Baby Lancers nearly wasted a 20-point lead before pulling a 77-70 win over the Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) Wildkittens.
