UV beats USJ-R in a thriller, 77-70

THE University of Visayas Green Lancers escaped a comeback scare from the University of San Jose-Recoletos Jaguars, 77-70 in Cesafi basketball season 16, on Thursday, August 11 at the New Cebu Coliseum.

Bassieru Sackor led the Green Lancers with a tremendous double-double performance 17 points, 19 rebounds, followed by Codilla with 11, and Suerte with 10, to give their team a 2-0 (win-loss) record. (READ MORE)
