(Cesafi) college basketball title after beating the University of the Visayas Green Lancers, 87-76, in Game 3 to lead the best-of-5 championship series 2-1 at the Cebu Coliseum last night.

(Cesafi) Collegiate Basketball Finals at the Cebu Coliseum last night.

    The variety of defense that coach Gary Cortes brought into the game helped them minimize the production of Shooster Olago in the first three quarters before the Cameroonian center broke loose and scored 11 points for the Warriors in the fourth quarter, just as UV was enjoying a 22-point lead early at the start of the payoff period.
