    DEFENDING high school champions Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Magis Eagles brought out the best of the University of the Visayas Baby Lancers before they pulled off a 73-64 win in the 2015 Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. high school basketball tournament at the Cebu Coliseum on Saturday.

    The Magis Eagles displayed their dominating form early on, but UV was always at the heels of the defending champs, trying to fend off a blowout match. (READ MORE)

    THE Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) Wildkittens jumpstarted the game with a 16-5 blast in the opening quarter to score a 67-62 win over the demoralized Cebu Eastern College Dragons in the high school division of the Cebu SchoolS Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) 2015 Season at the Cebu Coliseum last night.

    THE University of San Carlos (USC) Baby Warriors remained at the top of the SBP division of the Milo Best SBP-Passerelle tournament Cebu leg after a one-sided victory over University of the Visayas Baby Green Lancers at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Gen. Maxilom Ave. campus gym in a rematch of last year’s finals.

    CONTROVERSIES continue to follow Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) 2015 Season. In the latest incident, Cesafi discovered another tampered birth record that was able to pass by the screening committee unnoticed.

(Cesafi) basketball tournament at the Cebu Coliseum yesterday.

    AFTER missing the semifinal round last year, the Cebu Eastern College (CEC) Dragons showed they are a serious title contender following a display of skills and might en route to a 59-43 win over the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) Baby Panthers in the High School Division of the 2015 Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) basketball tournament last night at the Cebu Coliseum.

    The game however, was marked by a combined five unsportsmanlike fouls, three technical fouls, four warnings for resentment to a call and an ejection for punching. (READ MORE)
